UPCOMING ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR 2026:

General Election: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 7:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Absentee ballots requested by mail will begin being mailed to voters on September 17, 2026.

In-person absentee voting begins October 20, 2026. Residents are welcome to visit Town Hall during our designated voting hours: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Returning Your Absentee Ballot

Please be aware that the Town Hall does NOT have an absentee ballot drop box. Residents may not place absentee ballots in the Town Hall mailbox, as the Clerk cannot legally accept or process ballots returned this way.

If you received your ballot by mail and would like to make sure it reaches the Town Hall in time, residents are more than welcome to bring their completed ballot directly to the Clerk during our regular operating hours:

Monday–Thursday
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Handing your ballot directly to the Town Clerk can provide peace of mind and help avoid uncertainty associated with mailing your ballot through the USPS.

Important: Who Can Return Your Ballot?

When bringing an absentee ballot to the Town Clerk, please be mindful of Wisconsin's requirements regarding who may return the ballot. Please plan accordingly when deciding how and when you will return your absentee ballot. If you choose to bring it to Town Hall, make sure the appropriate voter is available to personally hand the ballot to the Clerk during regular operating hours.

If your name is on the ballot and you are a regular voter, you must be the person who personally hands your ballot to the Clerk. A ballot cannot simply be dropped off by another individual on your behalf.

There are specific exceptions for voters whose ballots are marked indefinitely confined. If you have questions about whether an exception applies to your situation, please contact the Clerk before planning to return your ballot.

We are unable to receive and account for a ballot when it is returned by an individual who is not permitted to return it under Wisconsin law.
